got news guys my sources are telling me various things that are going on. they also said that this last 2 weeks have been the hardest the club has worked on incoming and outgoings for 10 years.

1) sanchez is having his medical today at 4 pm photo shoot after that and puma will film the photo shoot for tonight's event going to be given the #23 shirt club already printing shirts for tonight.

2) debuchy has also had his medical and photo shoot. he will be given the #2 shirt

3) the club is willing to listen to offers around 5 mill for arteta

4) like in my previous post the aurier deal is OFF due to how the fee was going to be paid hence the reason for debuchy

any truth to this ed?

027 your comment made me laugh

2.) Sources are presumably the entire internet rumour mill!

no new update on the aurier transfer.

I have found out that oliver giroud has verbally agreed a 2 year contract extension. will be signed when he is finished playing in the world cup an had his summer holiday.

also the remy deal is on the back burner as we have set our targets elsewhere Tottenham looking the likely to get him.

My understanding is IF he doesn't come to Arsenal, he will stay in France.
Being an Arsenal fan he will never go to Sp*rs!

bad news my sources are telling me that the Aurier deal has hit problems. first and foremost the player wants to come but toulose would prefer to sell to a club willing to pay the transfer upfront (in my last post) which has now alerted Monaco and psg where both clubs will pay the fee in a one off payment this is currently at a stale mate as the player has his heart set on the arsenal and not interested in a switch. I am trying to find out more.

1.) To be honest with you I would bet my my wife and kids he will be with soon

2.) Difficult to understand why we would do this considering we are sitting on so much cash and the fact its £8m and not £20m which maybe understandable. If this is the case and he is a player Wenger really wants then its short sighted to say the least. I would not be surprised however based on our record in closing out deals to date unfortunately. :(

3.) Hmm, if that's right, it bodes very ill for us.

Not willing/able to pay 30 or 40, or even 20, upfront is one thing (a bit discouraging, but perhaps the reality of not having a billionaire daddy with an open wallet).

Not being able to pay under 10 upfront would mean. we need to stop dreaming, as the most we'll see is a total of 20-40 spent, with structured payments and, most likely, with some of it recouped by sales.

In other words, forget a real challenge for the title. No chance. United badly underperformed with their squad last year, look like they really might spend 100-200 mill as some predicted, and. still managed to take four points off us last year. City and Chelsea allso both likely to be a fair bit stronger. Remy and Debuchy and unwarranted optimism for a deadline day bargain will not be enough.

But, fingers crossed, you may not have any sources.

4.) I really hope this isn't true we badly need Aurier, he could become extremely good

5.) Aurier's great going forward but to be perfectly honest his defensive work rate is suspect--got caught out of position a couple times for Cote d'Ivoir. I am concerned that he would leave Mert high and dry without a quick DM to cover for him.

I think he's got potential to be a good signing but going to trust AW on this one

I am hearing that the aurier deal is nearly done. personal terms are done the only thing holding this one up is how arsenal are going to pay the fee. arsenal looking at instalments toulose want 8 mill upfront 1 of payment. arsenal willing to pay 7 mill upfront

This where arsenal mess around over 1 million and another club will come in lol

2.) Pretty much all transfers are paid in installments.
Barcelona paid £35 million for Fabregas over 5 years - they are still paying Arsenal!

3.) I've had a phone call and the Aurier deal is done mate. Seriously.

4.) You sure goldboy or have u been puffing malagas magic pipe?

5.) If we only have 100m to spend then every 1m counts
We don't want to overpay and its part of negotiating
1m is still a lot of money - I like our attitude and I don't always believe the negotiated numbers etc in the papers

6.) Sometimes Arsenal's parsimony on transfers baffles me.
Aurier hopefully will be a roaring success at the Emirates, otherwise what's the point in committing ourselves to £15 million in wages over the next 5 years. With that potential outlay, why the hassle over £1 million?
2 options as I see it.
a) Incentivise the £1 million up to £1.5 million over the length of the contract or
b) Accept that we have been very lucky in getting in almost £13.5 million from sell-on clauses in Fabregas and Vela, in circumstances we could hardly have imagined. Setting a precedent with small sides such as Toulouse may pay far more dividends in the future, than continual battle of wits with the big guns.

Arsenal are going to bring in Cirprian Marica on a free agent after leaving schalke after his contract expired. for those who don't know Romanian forward. makes sense to me as we are light in this area (heard anything ed?) {Ed044's Note - Ciprian Marica has been of interest to West Ham and PAOK according to another Ed earlier in the week. No mention of Arsenal.}

1.) From what I hear he's no better than sanogo or the B52 bomber

2.) I think it is more likely that Bendtner will get a few games before the january window.
