Hi eds, do you have any idea where we stand on the saliba deal? Do you know if he has a preference for either arsenal or spurs? Who are out other targets if saliba falls through? Also with us seemingly looking like we're getting tierney, will we then be turning our attention to wingers, or should we be braced for a window where we may only sign 1-2 players?

Thanks eds.

{Ed002's Note - (a) The issue was always going to be about a loan back to St Et. Spurs are still keen and open to agreeing the loan if they need to. (b) I am not aware of any changes to the list that existed before. (c) No, Arsenal are looking to fill the list of players required.}

Thanks Ed.

Honestly what is this club

It looks like we're stalling with the tierney deal, but we will happily bid over twice as much for Zaha? Obviously Zaha is a better player, but we need a left back more than a winger, and if we baulk at a 20m price tag on a player of tierneys quality, I'll be absolutely furious.

What we need is a Brazilian teenager more than anything 👊.

2.) 02 Jul 2019 20:43:02
It could be worse - Spurs could sign a player for more than 60m while we piss around buying kids from Poundland and embarrassing ourselves putting piss poor offers for a leftback and Zaha. 💤.

At least we are trying ; Arsenal have reportedly offered Leicester £50million for Harry Maguire – despite the defender’s £90million price tag.

😂😂.

SY mate, Signing youth players has little to no impact on our marquee signings and if you had your way, the likes of RVP, Cesc, Nasri, Guendouzi, Bellerin, etc would never have made it to Arsenal.

Not true bud - check my other posts by using the search button. I’m an advocate for youth in our team.

However - we have a tiny budget and just blew close to 20% of it on a player we will put out on loan so not improving the squad we have today. We also have ample youth per my post the other day that I Hope make it into the team but with only 40m and loads of holes to fill then we need to invest wisely. Stop pissing around with stupid bids on players we need - spurs just spent 65m while we buy a Brazilian to send on loan and bid 2p for Zaha

That’s my frustration.

What's the situation with lucas torreira. Quotes coming out today (don't know how reliable the source is) in which torreira said he's not happy in England and is struggling with the language and he preferred life in Italy.

Do you know anything about this eds?

{Ed002's Note - No I don't.}

If the Eds don't know anything and Ormstien isn't all over it like a rash I'd say there is an extremely high chance of this story being total fabrication.
He probably said " I'm finding learning English difficult " and the media have completely twisted it to suit there ends, as per usual.

Lemina as a CAM? Centre mid yeh, but I can't see him playing CAM

We should ditch 4231, the CAM role is a dying position now.
