Ospina, Gibbs, Holding, Gabriel, Mertesacker, Xhaka, Reine Adelaide, Iwobi, Walcott, Perez, Mainland Niles?

Dags,
Hope we play a stronger team than that.

10 Mar 2017 20:09:40
Welsh,
The back 4 should be able to hold Lincoln (no disrespect to them) and Perez and Walcott have goals in them.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2017 20:52:17
Why Mertesacker Dags?

Agree0 Disagree1

10 Mar 2017 20:57:54
It should be a tight game dags as there's not much between the clubs at the moment.

10 Mar 2017 21:26:27
G62,
I think Wenger will play Mertesacker, just to give him his monthly run out 😃.

Thanks Raver lol.

10 Mar 2017 22:09:51
Sorry Dags I got confused (not difficult :-) I thought that was your personal view rather than a prediction of what Arsene will do.
Apologies image it's me age.

10 Mar 2017 22:23:34
No problem G62.
Yeah, I just think he will give Per a runout.

Raver

You're hilarious.

10 Mar 2017 23:15:56
Per at right back? Awesome!

11 Mar 2017 05:56:43
I would play our strongest available team and try and thrash Lincoln;
Cech
Bellerin Mustafi Koscielny Gibbs
Xhaka Ox
Walcott Ramsey Sanchez
Giroud

We have 12 PL matches and up to 3 FA Cup matches, we should treat each match as a cup final and select the strongest team available.

11 Mar 2017 09:12:19
On one hand I agree with you RG because if Arsene plays anything but his strongest 11 and we struggle or even fail to win he will be ridiculed, but on the other hand is that strongest 11 the most committed 11? They've shown little sign of that being the case lately.
In terms of Quality of players we are very big favorite's but if it should come down to commitment and who wants it most I think most people would back the Lincoln players to come out on top.
People have been talking about the Arsenal players lacking fight commitment desire accountability for many years now and it's something that seems to have become more and more apparent with every passing season, spectacularly reaching an all time high this season.
If I was Arsene I would be looking to get the players out there who thought were most up for making it happen rather just turning up and going through the motions with thier usual misguided opinion of themselves and each other.

11 Mar 2017 09:34:40
Let's not mess around and play the best team who will put in the effort and start showing the fans that they want it

Cech
Bellerin Mustafi Koscielny Nacho
Granit Ox
Walcott Ramsey Perez
Sanchez

COYG 🔴⚪️🏆🤛.

Instead of Per, we should get Trump in and let him build a wall.

i would go ospina holding gabriel bellerin gibbs eneny ox wellbeck if fit if not iwobi perez theo sanchez.

RG, yes mate I'm with you there is no room for complacency anymore. We have all had enough of it.

10 Mar 2017 11:58:16
Eds I was wondering, if Sanchez was to leave which I think he most probably will. Do you have any idea of the rough fee we'd be looking for?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - No, and it really is of no relevance.}

10 Mar 2017 15:27:38
Well let's put it this way .
How much was Paul Pogba?
If we don't get more than United paid for him well I don't know what to think. At least you can see the worth in Sanchez more than I can say for Pogba.

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed002's Note - It has nothing whatsoever to do with Paul Pogba.}

10 Mar 2017 11:38:43
Some people object to the banners and peaceful protests at this club. Psg players and officials got verbally and physically abused and their cars vandalised. Some people suggesting wenger might be psg bound ( i don't ) well they don't mess about in france.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Mar 2017 14:24:29
Just a thought, PSG lost a 4 goal lead,
Mind you we haven't ever had that luxury,
I didn't see the game as I was off football, but maybe we could pick up a player or two from them.

My first memory of an Arsenal game.
I was 6 years old and my dads mate was round our house and it was a cloudy day. He said if the sun comes out I will take you to see the match. I was siting there begging for the sun to shine then around 2 pm the clouds cleared. We walked to Highbury which was about a 30 minute walk from my house and Arsenal were playing Blackpool. I remember being mesmorised watching the speeed of George Eastham.
I was hooked from that day. We won %-3.

LOL Sharpie
Lansra That goes back a bit. Jesus they must have had a leather ball back then.
Playing for the love of the game, not like the greedy sods today, Sanchez is the new adebayor,

10 Mar 2017 19:25:04
I don't think adebayor could lace the boots of sanchez, one the club didn't miss the other we will.

11 Mar 2017 09:37:26
I would like the old Ade upfront - what a waste of talent due to a crap attitude. A 442 with him and Theo would have been interesting to see.

WELSHY. Let me tell you this mate .
In them days if the pitch was wet and you headed the ball you stood the chance of concussion 😂. The ball would sponge up the water and it was like playing with a medicine ball. If you think I'm joking try and get hold of an old ball soak it and kick it around for 20 minutes. Oh and another thing was if the weather was really cold and the ball smacked you in the thighs, it stung for a day! .
Yes mate them balls were a lethal weapon. 😜.

Cant get my heads round the Spuds chant of please Wenger sign your contract, when he has finished above them all them years.
Thought like me they would glad to see the back of him. Perhaps I'm getting old and cannot see in that message that other people can.
I asked this question before we played Sutton so i ask it again before we play Lincoln, if we lose does he stay, resigns or sacked.

Perhaps it's an attempt at irony, but that would credit them with intelligence that they don't possess. They are hopefully aware that during Wenger's time at the club Arsenal have finished above the Toot every season and have won many more trophies than their measly 2 League Cups. Even last season when the Toot had one of their best seasons in decades, Arsenal did better in all four competitions. So far this season Arsenal have done better in the League Cup and Champions League. We are both still in the FA Cup and the Toot are 6 points ahead of us, but we have a game in hand, which could narrow the gap to 3 points or one win. Our manager has won many trophies, whilst theirs has won absolutely none. Most Toot fans were not even alive last time they won the league back in 1961. Therefore, their inane chants are driven by envy of a great manager, the likes of which they have never had.

I don't Wenger to go as he's been a brilliant manager and I would have loved him at my club when he was in his pomp, but R. G. face facts Arsenal are going backwards while spurs are going places. We have the best training ground and will have the best ground in the country next year, a brilliant young squad who are only going to get better and 0nly 3 arsenal players would get into Tottenham and a young manager who's getting better each season while playing the best football in the league, you can go one round further in every competition R. G. but if you are getting totally outclassed and battered I wouldn't be bragging, you are heading for sixth R. G. while spurs are the only serious challenge to Chelsea says it all.

Oh dear raver, more drivel. Wenger has won 2 FA Cups in the last 3 seasons. Arsenal have finished 2nd last season and can still finish top four this season. With the likes of Man City, Man U and Chelsea having financial superiority, it takes a lot for the likes of Arsenal to challenge them. The Toot are decades behind Arsenal, who had state of the art training facilities in places shortly after Wenger arrived at the club in 1996. Our stadium was completed 11 years ago and is virtually paid for. We have a strong squad, with some excellent young players. It may be under Wenger, or more likely under a new manager that Arsenal can take the final step and move up to compete with the top European clubs. Whereas the Toot are a couple of years away from moving into their new stadium, are and will be under enormous pressure to finance the £750m cost, whilst only having a turnover of £250m per annum. It will be a juggling act and something will have to give. Your 'amazing' manager and team have won absolutley nothing to date and last season failed to finish above Arsenal in any competition. This season, after two comps have ended for our clubs, we have done better in both comps. You seriously believe that the Toot are providing a challenge to Chelsea! Have a look at the table and you will see that you are 10 points behind Chelsea with only 11 matches to play. Have a quick glance at their fixtures and you will see that you only have a mathematical chance of overtaking them. In reality they will finish at least 10 points ahead of you. Meanwhile, Arsenal can close the gap on the Toot to 3 points, if they win their game in hand. As for your manager and better players, they will become of interest to the big teams and it is hard to retain them when these clubs offer crazy wages that the Toot can't match. I would also only want 2 or 3 Toot players in our squad. As you know raver, the pain at the lane just goes on.1961 says it all.

Agree5 Disagree6

10 Mar 2017 11:52:48
R. G. we are more of a challenge to Chelsea than you lot, we are the only club who are unbeaten at home the league, how on earth you can say spurs are years behind Arsenal is laughable, you have won 2 fa cups in 14 years to our one league cup wow, you are the only fan who says spurs are not improving as a club isn't a surprise just like your harry Kane doesn't score goals comments lol. You say spurs can't pay wages that's why Arsenal will be waving off ozil and Sanchez in the summer as they can't offer them enough to stay. Also about our players even ex Arsenal players have said most of Tottenham would walk into the Arsenal team but surprise surprise R. G. disagrees, I'm starting to think you are ty the Arsenal fan who wears the silly headphones as you are as deluded as him.

Agree5 Disagree4

10 Mar 2017 12:21:57
Oh dear raver, even more drivel. The Toot have over 30 years of catching up to do and it's barely begun. While we were winning two cups over the last three seasons, the Toot won absolutley nothing and we have all seen false Toot dawns before. I'm sure Chelsea are quaking in their boots, with the Toot 10 points behind with only 11 matches to go, In fact they have 6 very winnable home matches to go and if they win those they will be 28 points ahead of the Toot! They must be really worried! We heard all your nonsense last season and you didn't do better than us in any competition, This season we are already two competitions ahead of you and that's in a season whehn things are changing at the club. The difference between the clubs is huge and is clearly illustrated buy the fact that last season was a disappointing one for us and yet we superceeded the Toot in every comp, during a fanatasic season for them.

Fortunately raver, I chose to be born a Gooner. Your CL performances this season were an embarrassment, as were your Europa League ones. As you know the pain at the lane just goes on and on.1961 and waiting.

If we are in pain Guaranga help you lot, you have achieved something in Europe as the only English club ever to conceded 10 goals in Europe lol. You have a past his sell by date manager with a average squad in the likes of Gibbs, holding, xhaka, eleny, giroud, Walcott etc I could go on and on and you are going backwards and I love it beep.

stop it. its too one sided.
Somebody throw in the towel raver taking an awful beating.
But I must point out Rg, spuds are far more successful in the Europa league, OOOPS we haven't been in it.
Raver, spurs are always the best team, you have the best team best ground god knows your the greatest club ever been, but I wouldn't swap you.
Mate remember what levy is . A business man. and if he can see a way of getting that debt down he will, Goodbye ali.
