Sano good job I'm not an accountant! Just loving the passion and motivation - I've said before 11 motivated players stand a great chance against a team of unmotivated superstars - long may it continue COYG.

Haha fair play Sussex don’t let RG catch you 😂.

D16 I think the point is that even with the extra £10 mill Auba is still a steal in today's market - hence the frustration COYG.

Even more of a bargain as it’s 10 million euros 😂.

I agree Sussex. I was more laughing that when it's going well it's the two new guys. But when we won't pay the extra 10m it's arsenes fault lol.

Surely it's more down to Gazidis than Wenger?

Wenger isn't even there, just Gazidis and Sven Mislintat and the Chief Negotiator bloke (forgot his name) .

25 Jan 2018 19:46:42
D16 - very true. It’s Wenger fault for everything ( youth, scouting, budget, ticket price, weather etc etc ) but never him doing something right ( solid defensive run, a good bye. Youth coming through etc ) . It’s his fault I didn’t win the lottery. Even though I didn’t buy a ticket. 😜.

If Wenger got ronaldo bale messi and Suarez people would still say we havnt got a dm 😂😂😂.

I still don't understand why we don't get Mahrez?? Proven in PL, ready made replacement for Sanchez.

I got to say it does make me laugh on here the other day i was seeing people praising the new 2 guys for their transfer business/ transfer ambitions this month and today I'm seeing people slightly annoyed that arsene won't pay an extra 10m for aubameyang 😂.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Jan 2018 08:29:47
Wenger just spend that extra 10m on Aubameyang!

Brilliant second half performance! 2 great displays the last 2 games (since Sanchez hasn't been in the dressing room? ) , coincidence it may be! Looks like Auba is all down to the fee. Sky sports report both teams are keen for the move to happen but they want 60 and we have offered 50. COYG get this deal done! :)

Full team celebrating goals and less negative finger pointing or huffs

Thought we passed the ball across the team better rather than having to find Sanchez all the time ( similar to Cesc’s last season) but I feel we lacked his spark as Iwobi was terrible. Mixed feelings as we miss his spark and energy as he’s the one player who can really turn a game but I don’t miss his huffs, selfish play, Running into trouble or giving needless possession away.

Another fine mess by the FA in my opinion! Not that I find Phil Neville’s comments particularly offensive or even sexist but the fact that the FA have said they knew about the tweets beforehand. What on earth did the FA expect! Especially when only two weeks ago they were banging on about how appointments were going to be made from now on. I find it more concerning that Phil can’t even count to four. What a bunch of plonkers 😂.

25 Jan 2018 13:14:44
Since when has it not been sexist to joke about battering ones wife? In the current climate he ought to have been a little more circumspect and deleted it before he took the job. Having said that, it is a matter of debate over how far back ones social media activity can be pored over for potential misdemeanour's. I'm sure there are very few people who are pristine enough to avoid some form offence.

You are right though, he is a total *rs*.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jan 2018 16:45:32
Joking about battering your wife or even battering your wife is not sexist it’s called domestic abuse! It’s the same as if you punch a black man it’s not racist it’s assault . Unless you have punched them for been women or black. Not trying to split hairs but it’s very important for people not to get hysterical and let things grow arms and legs. The sexist comment he made was about women been in the kitchen blah blah. Like you say he’s a thick head and the FA are a joke. But you shouldn’t be taken on in a job and then punished for things done before the start of your employment. The idea is that the employer employs the correct employee. If they get it wrong it’s not the employees fault IMO.

Context context context ~ he was joking with his family member, what was his response to about battering ( having lost a game _ perhaps battering his wife at chess / Xbox game ) .

Is it not sexist to say a woman should get the job to understand feelings / mood swings. Did any women apply for the role?

I am missing the point completely but it’s about context of comment, stupidity of a reply, banter and in other areas women screaming unfair filling of a role.

Abuse is no joke - agreed but did we only read the one tweet?

Equality only in one direction? Why should a woman get the job over a man.

Excellent win last night. I would now like to see us sign Aubameyang and Evans. Assuming these signings happen, I can see us hunting down Chelsea and the Toot, to secure a top four place.
WBA signed a CB on loan, which leads me to believe we should be able to sign Evans, whose transfer fee reportedly drops to £3m if West Brom are relegated.
If Giroud agrees to go on loan as part of the Aubameyang deal, then it could happen.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

25 Jan 2018 08:00:43
It does clear the way for arsenal to sign Evans now city are reported to be signing Laporte (a player who I really like) I suspect arsenal will look to Evans in the summer. I would like the aubameyang deal to go through ASAP and give us more time to possibly get another in through the door.

Top 4 place lol you are getting carried away by beating Chelsea to reach the carabao cup final where man city will make sure you won't be winning it for the 32nd year.

Agree6 Disagree5

25 Jan 2018 10:53:31
Oh dear raver61, being a supporter of trophyless toot clearly clouds the mind.
The toot are only 3 points (one win) ahead of Arsenal and have a tricky run of PL games coming up, as well as two tough matches against Juvenutus. Whilst Chelsea and Liverpool also have CL and FA Cup ties to cope with.
Beating Chelsea in the semi-final will no doubt raise Arsenal's confidence and a possible albeit difficult chance of lifting the trophy.
Having moved Sanchez out appears to have raised the spirit and Mkhitaryan is an excellent signing, if we bring in Aubameyang and Evans, the chances of a top four place increase.
The pain of not winning the league since 1961 clearly weighs heavily on you. 57 long years of abject failure. Before you belittle the League Cup, remember it is the sole trophy the toot have won this century, if you rule that out then the last time the toot won a trophy was 1991, 27 years ago! I forgot that you don't count domestic cups as trophies. Assuming the only trophies you consider worthwhile are the PL and the CL, then it;s back to 1961 for you.

Agree5 Disagree5

25 Jan 2018 11:10:56
I'm not mocking the league cup R. G. But you are getting a bit carried away saying you will hunt down Chelsea as you are already 8 points off them. As for spurs you are only 3 points behind yet we are playing all our games away from whl which means we will be even stronger next year when we return home to the biggest ground in London, you can keep your league cup final as we have bigger fish to fry in as we will definitely finish top4, still in the FA cup and in the last 16 of the European cup mind the gap.

Agree5 Disagree4

25 Jan 2018 12:00:31
Oh dear raver61 - definitely finish top four! The 'gap' as you call it is 3 points and a load of trophies. Trophy-wise or rather a distinct lack of trophies, you are out of the League Cup and even the most ardent of toot fans would admit there is virtually no chance of winning the league this season, making it 57 years and counting since they last won the league. To win the CL, you would have to overcome Juventus over 2 legs, then beat a top European team over 2 legs in the quarter and semi-finals and in all likelyhood beat one of Europe's top teams in the final. That's 7 matches against top oppostion, so, so let's say that's highly unlikely. To win the FA Cup, the four teams above you are still in it.
Arsenal are in a transition period and yet we have managed to get to a cup final and have an outside possibility of lifting the trophy. Now you are blaming Wembley, when you are back at the home of failure, the excuse will be its's a new stadium. 67 years of failure. 1961, yes 1961.

Agree2 Disagree5

25 Jan 2018 14:04:17
You should do your homework R. G. as you say the only big thing we have won before 91 is the league in 61, you must have forgot about the European cup winners in 63, the ueafa cup in 72 and the ueafa cup in 84 lol mind you the only thing Arsenal fans know about Europe is jumping on the ferry from Dover to France, you do make the raver chuckle as you said Arsenal are having a better season than spurs how as you are out of the FA cup, not even playing in the champions league and below your little rivals in the league while all your top players are jumping ship as you are FINISHED.

Agree6 Disagree3

25 Jan 2018 17:26:59
Raver with your spuds season ticket do you get discount for other events at Wembley. If so grab some tickets to Arsenal v Man City and you may see a Noth London team win a trophy there.

This will be another season with no silverware or even a final and you think you're a bigger club than us because you finished above us once in 20 years, deluded as always raver. You will always be in our shadow.

Mahrez spotted at the Emirates maybe he's. Joining Chelsea.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Jan 2018 07:43:18
He may be coming to us, as h wouldn't risk being seen at the Emirates if he was going to Chelsea and we need a right-sided attacking midfield player.
A forward line of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Mahrez would produce goals, especially with Mkhitaryan, Ozil and Wilshere (assuming they stay) , supplying the ammunition. Add Evans and the squad will have improved. I would still have liked Nzonzi.

Good old Harry Kane will score more goals than lacazette, and aubameyang put together R.G. you will be bigging up John Evans while the toot have the two class Belgium centre backs as for mahrez he was there watching the European champions Chelsea not charity shield Arsenal, R.G.

To be fair, Dortmund have said they are fairly desperate to get rid of Auba, so why would we let them dictate terms. expect it to go to the wire. Think itll be poker faces and we'll see who t he best negotiators are by the end of the window.

Didn’t we do that with Sanchez.

We have a budget and getting more with less us key to competing as long as we get the players we want. If you don’t agree press the green square button to email me direct ❎ . I will arrange for a wheelbarrow of cash to be delivered to your home by some fairies.
