You have to be a loser if you are a Tottenham fan and hang out in the Arsenal live chat during Arsenal matches and write more posts then most Arsenal fans. There is only one motive. Amusing raver. I think in the cold light of day he might realise that Leicester are 7 points ahead of the Toot, with only 15 points to play for, which means Leicester only need 9 points to ensure they finish above the Toot and that assumes Toot win all their matches. One draw and Leicester only need 7 points. Two draws and Leicester only need 5 points. More importantly the Toot should concentrate on finishing 2nd, as Arsenal have a home match in hand against WBA, which could close the gap to 3 points, with Arsenal arguably having the easier run in, with 4 very winnable home matches, one winnable away match and one very difficult away match at Man C, which could be winnable, as Man City have the added distraction of playing at least one more CL match, possibly more. 1961, the pain at the lane, just goes on.

Raver yes it is excruciating seeing a little club like spurs potentially 3 points ahead of us in the league. We aren't used to being behind mediocrity. 20 times in the last 20 years spuds have been inferior. 20 years! And the one that you show a glimmer of fight in we have to suck it up just like you have for" 20 years" . I do have a modicum of how you lot have felt for the last TWENTY YEARS we've only had a few days, times that by 240 months and you lot must have been suisudal and turned to alcohol and drugs. See we did do you a favour. 2x10 years being trod on and now you get your 20 minutes of fame. Said it a while ago, especially as all the top teams have bombed. The problem isn't finishing behind spurs but failing to win a league that was for once very winnable and finance was no influence but managerial ability was.

Clockend, better get used to spurs finishing above you as its going to be happening for the next few years at least. We now have a top manager with some of the best players in the country right now plus the biggest stadium in London opening in 2 years time. You on the other hand used to win titles for fun now its a joy if you finish 4th that is the difference we are on the up and you are heading the other way.

Agree1 Disagree10

10 Apr 2016 20:10:05
Steve,
I think the players are as much to blame as Wenger.

Game after game, Leicester players perform.

Kante, Mahrez, vardy, Drinkwater, Huth, they all perform to their best abilities.

Our players continually underperform and continually make mistakes.

Wenger takes a lot of blame but for me, the players, average £80,000 per week, are as much, if not more, to blame.

Agree6 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 20:18:28

Raver typical spurs getting excited over mediocrity. 20-1 doesn't look that good when you consider the ONE is yours. Yawn yawn, we have seen it all before. You are getting excitted again after hitting the top you choked just like we did and just like I predicted. You are playing well again now the pressures off.

Agree6 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 20:32:02
Dags Leicester are a proper football team nothing like the relegation battlersfof last season and unlike us and spuds haven't choked the minute they hit the top, they are actually relishing it. Kudos to them.

Agree6 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 20:40:00
You Spurs fans need to understand that you can't judge us Arsenal fans on our opinions because you have not been in the same boat. You get at people for been upset we have never bellow you for 20 odd years and you can't relate because you haven't been above us you also can't relate that we are disappointed because we ain't in the running us as gooners expect more so don't call fans back stabbers just because you Spurs fans have always dreamed of having a manager for more than 2-3 years. You can't understand because you have been miles away for a quarter of a century. Your not that far in front and your over the moon. You ain't winning the league so second is your best chance.

Still think we will take 2nd just love when Spurs fans get excited when you had bale its was best team ever now you have Kane it's the best team ever enjoy it your playing well, but staying in champions league is s challenge not one year then years out selling players till you make it back and be careful what you wish for in a new stadium we've suffered there! And you do know we have space for probably another 10-15k seats if required so biggest ground you will be for very short while 😂.

Leicester have W Ham h Man U a Everton h and Chelsea a it wouldn't be surprising if they drew all four . leaving Spuds to nick it

Let's talk about Theo Walcott. I've never been a fan of bashing our own players but I am of the opinion that we should cash in on him if the opportunity comes. This season he hasn't even been good enough for the bench. And looking back at all the years he has been here he's shown only flashes of talent, and when you analyze it he's been pretty average throughout. Maybe it would be better for his career to seek a club where he could play regularly, even if he was on the bench he rarely impacted the game. He has brought us a lot of joy sometimes but if the appetite of the club is bigger we need bigger players. I think i would take 15-20mil for him.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

10 Apr 2016 16:41:45
He just rarely impacts a game. I swear iwobi has done more the last 2 games than Theo has done for years. Is a Shame though as he's been a loved character at our club. Just hasn't fulfilled his potential.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 17:13:33
Agree Theo Has not progressed one bit in years now. He should in his prime at 27 now but relay has the impact in games he should have. He has suffered from being played out wide when clearly he is better in the middle, but for me he needs to play alongside a Giroud type not instead of him as he can look lost up front on his own. He Suits a more direct more counter attack type 4-4-2 system rather than the intricate4-2-3-1 we play. I just don't think his is technically intelligent enough to play effectively in our system and style of play. I would defo sell for the right offer.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 17:20:21
The fact we flaffed about all last summer while Theo decided whether he wanted to stay or go and we paid him vast sums of money to convince him to stay speaks volumes about where we are and have for years been going wrong.
Its ridiculous that we are still waiting on a 27 year old to good when Liverpool and West Ham have long since given up on Stuart Dowwning, the loyalty thing tell most Arsenal fans Theo is miles better than Downing but the facts don't back that up at all, both are and always have been players who made a career out of having pace and a few good games a season.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 21:55:18
That's a fine point G62.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Apr 2016 03:29:19
Will we be saying the same about j wilshire in one or two years? We are not very good at getting injury prone players to play for us and give them contract after contract, ox, theo, rosicky, diaby, wilshire, gibbs etc who don't give us anything close to our monies worth and stops the development of youngsters who may or may not have come through. Iwobi was one of the lucky ones.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 19:19:23
I will add though for us to finish behind the spuds this season especially would be disastrous only because this season the big three that have been the problem and who we should aspire to emulate have bombed. Twenty seasons to one is nothing for spurs to brag about but the one would be for me the most damaging because there are no excuses for not putting in a better challenge and I don't think wenger has the tools to correct it and we will look back and say he has overstayed his tennure. Its like having a ferrari and letting an old age pensioner drive it, you don't get the best out of it.

Welsh can I be honest and don't take this the wrong way, I didn't expect you to. Spurs at home are better than you at the moment. You have some pretty good players but some pretty awful ones too, blind, rojo, young, Damien and a past it carrick were always going to hold you back. i'm pretty embarrased we only took 1 point off you, which helped keep you in a higher position. Big decisions for both clubs this summer, both need to get it 100% right.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 06:31:08
I was amazed that Wenger stated that we have a problem in the air. None of our centre backs are good in the air. Koscielny is barely 6ft tall. Gabriel isn't a giant at 6'1", whilst Mertesacker is extremely tall, but surprisingly poor in the air. If Wenger knew this was a problem, then he had the option of playing Mertesacker, despite not being great in the air, at least he has the height to challenge Carroll. In addition he could have started Giroud, who is 6'3" and decent in the air. The problem with this suggestion is that Wenger didn't expect Carroll to start the match, so couldn't set out the team accordingly. I also stated before the match, that the one change I would have made to the line up, was to bring back Cech, who would have added his height to the team and his experience. He is after all a better keeper than Ospina. I cannot understand why Carroll wasn't sent off for his assault on Koscielny after a few minutes. He committed two or three fouls in the challenge, with the final one putting Koscileny in danger of serious injury. Now we need to win our very winnable four home matches. If by some miracle we were to win the remaining two away matches, this should be enough to guarantee third place and possibly finish second. Six wins could put pressure on Leicester, but they would need to drop points at Sunderland today. They still have a difficult run in, with the exception of Swansea at home, which they should win. If they were to draw today, they could come under pressure. 6 wins would leave us on 77 points. If Leicester were to beat Swansea and Everton, draw against Sunderland and West Ham, whilst suffering defeats away to Man U and Chelsea, they would finish on 77 points. They currently have a two goal advantage over us, but that would disappear in the above scenario. I am clutching at straws, but all our matches are winnable, including Man City, who were far from convincing in their late, narrow win at home to WBA. With at least one more CL match, possibly more, they will come under considerable pressure.
Tottenham have a couple of difficult fixtures in the run in and I expect them to finish on 76 points. Easy!

Andy Carolls tackle didn't deserve a striaght red but it was a bad tackle as was Gabriels and of course West Ham had a good goal ruled offside much like Aaron Ramsey did against Liverpool early in the season, swings and roundabouts over the season.
Bilics decision to play Carroll paid handsomely and no matter who we played at CB our marking at the back has for years been very poor as we attempt some sort of poor zonal making that resembles musical statues at times, something billic and Carroll exploited perfectly by simply dropping to the back of the six yard box.
Arsenes strengths are the creative attractive side of the game but his teams fall short in the disaplined side of the game and ever since the invincibles broke up its been there to see by all and used by opponents.
George had Adams and co who Arsene inherited and Veira and co played with and learned from the 1 0 to the Arsenal generation but as the years have passed any George influence has completely disappeared.
The totally George era was boring but very effective the totally Arsene era has been weak and pretty much totally ineffective but the bit in the middle where the influence of both was fully combined was for us the perfect blend that progressed into the invincibles.
Arsene has been an excellent manager for Arsenal but I do wonder if he'd have lasted 20 years or had all the acclaim if he hadnt had benefits of Georges 1 0 to the Arsenal boys to begin with.
