Don't know why, but I fancy us to have a convincing win against the chavs

It's mustafi and Kosh first big test against a top forward, I feel confident in them.

{Ed041's Note - not like an arsenal fan to get way ahead of themselves after 2 games lol but since u ask, a lot better than Perez lol. remember when I told u he was going to play on the wing and red and you said no...... Is that Sanchez up front now?

We played well this weekend and look good without being at our absolute best. It's like When we win we quell the negative headlines for that week and when we lose its a crisis.

There have been so many false dawns that we take even the best of performances with a pinch of salt and make excuses for the side we beat "it's only Hull or they were down to ten men". We are wary bunch and rightfully so, its almost as if we are afraid to believe again. There are easy games in this league, Hull pushed United to limit but we battered them. or even Watford beat United comprehensively and caused Chelsea massive problems but stream rolled them, but we don't get the same from pundits and our own fans.

We have Chelsea next and that's a big game, but i won't hype it up as a season definer.

Your right Positive mate its not a season decider win lose or draw but it's certainly a chance for Arsene and the team to win back some of those fans who have become totally disillusioned with them after season after season of not being able to mount one serious challenge for the title.
Because we haven't been able to get the better of Chelsea for so long now it would be a big moral booster for everyone if we changed that this weekend.

Just to clear things up g62. If your a fan you don't need winning back because you should have not been anywhere else to start with👍🏻

Put it this way if we beat Chelsea I'm ripping up the Man City shirt I just got lol.

Gunner losing to chelski and winning next four games ( teams in bottom half) would be typical arsenal. Beating chelski and winning three of the next four games is not something we are used to, some ghosts have to be buried first, the ghost of chelski, the ghost of man u and mauereen and the ghost of march.

Oh and the recent new ghost of november needs burying.

Fair comment Sanogo mate but it is possible to still be a fan of Arsenal but not to think Arsene can lead the current team to a serious title challenge.
I don't think Liverpool fans have ever given up on Liverpool winning the premier league but they did give up on Brendan Rogers being able to make that happen.
I know 100% for sure it's within Arsenal football clubs ability to challenge for and win premier league titles its Arsene who I doubt.
Let's see if Arsene can make me think differently next weekend by finally getting his tactics team motivation and selection right against Chelsea, I would be extremely delighted to revaluate my opinion if he can do that mate, but the Le prof of the pudding is in the winning :-)

ITs not always Wenger tho, the players that cross that white line have to go in there with the belief that they can win, what will we say if he picks the team we all decide, instructs them as we all think he should and then the players think' we have not beat these is ages and freeze' or get carried away again and we end up with 9 men?

would that still be Wengers fault?

Gb it has to be the managers fault, else why do they get sacked when results are bad and a statue when they win. that's the life i'm afraid. The manager is the person who takes the can and the plaudits.

Banter!

Let's please petition for Xkaha's song.

Boom Xhaka-laka is the right idea.

But it has to be to the tune of Apache Indian Boom Shaka Lack:

"Wine your bodyyyyyyy,
Wriggle your bellyyyyyyy,
Do the Boom Xhaka-Laka
he's the new styleeeeeee".
