and wenger actually got arsenal into a champions league quarter final with eboue and diaby on the flanks, he's not really that bad.

Ok boys I found reasons to you to be cheerful
When you go to the Emirates
You will have more legroom
Less of a queue for a pie
Less of a queue for the toilet
Less of a queue for the tube
Pick any seat you want even in the VIP area. lol.

Fans at Old Trafford now talk about the golden age of LVG, just before they drop off :-)

When you walk around Manchester (although you probably live in London) , you will see lots of people in blue shirts smiling.
The cost of Man Utd shirts will probably be cheaper, so they can sell them.
When you go into a pub, you will have plenty of space as the blue side will be full up with people celebrating, whilst the red side of the pub with probably just have an old age pensioner drowning his sorrows over half a pint of bitter shandy.

Your season tickets will be cheaper as you can't increase them because you won nothing.

Local electrical stockists will be selling cheap headphones to Utd supporters to drown out your noisy neighbours being even noisier.

You will save a fortune on hiring a bus for a trophy parade around Manchester. City have already hired all the buses.

No need for "party poppers" or "Fireworks" or celebration scarves, they are already sold out to City supporters.

No need for Utd fans to take their wives out for a celebratory meal, City fans have already booked up all the restaurants in Manchester (and London) .

All in all mate, being a Utd fan is going to save you a fortune.

Lol days, I bet man city thought they were playing a home game tonight with all the empty seats.
I don't live in London days,

Lol Leary, all good banter mate.

We both support teams that are in our neighbour's shadows 😂.

01 Mar 2018 23:11:37
All, let's look at the bench - you see no options to change the game!

Selling Gabriel, Coq, Giroud and Ox has made us weaker. Say what you like but at halftime if you could throw on Giroud and Ox they would have made a difference. Especially Giroud - he loved the club!

Would they really. Its deeper than that.

Bloody hell! The team are doing a good enough job of making us a laughing stock but who's the joker who said there were 58000 there? Is there no shame 😂COYG.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2018 22:06:28
The club as Arsene has stated in the past count seats paid for not how many are used.
They'd rather play to a full house but as long as they are paid for ultimately that's all that matters to the club.
I don't know who the league leaders play away next but I'm sure it will to a capacity crowd.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 22:05:16
58,000 they were having a laugh there. Sussex did you win your bet.

Hey there lads

Reds fan in peace .

Always thought that Gunner fans are a respectable bunch whose team play football in the proper way as opposed to Mourihos anti football . Genuinely feel for you guys and what you being forced to endure . Personally if I were in your shoes i would be more upset with your spineless board than Wenger.

Just curious to know who you chaps would like to replace Wenger . Who would play the style of football you prefer? Would you like the brand of football to be attacking? Does it even matter with this being a results driven game .

Hope you lads find a resolution.

There is always a silver lining at the end of the storm . Keep the faith .

Does the guy announce attendance do it from 🤔🤔🤔 well not sure but how on earth he can’t see the stadium with many empty seats. And seriously doesn’t he feel a bot idiotic with announcing such number when it’s obvious not correct? 🤔🤔.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 23:55:39
They just announce tickets sold, not seats occupied, hence the 58,000.

01 Mar 2018 20:56:14
We was all laughing about it before the game mate and I think we have to do the same now too.
It's what we expected and let's face it's what we've become used too
It's just a the same waiting game its been for years now.

Agree3 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 21:34:54
To try and save our season (lol) he needs sacking tonight and ancelotti putting in to see if he can galvanize the team for the europa. Because wenger has lost everything, its pitiful.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 21:44:13
Forget this season Steve let Arsene do a Fergie and resign in the next 24 hours coming into afect as of the last game of the season.
Then let's get on with giving him a great send off as friends.

Agree0 Disagree2

01 Mar 2018 21:54:18
It’s depressing that I don’t bother anymore. I was expecting some sort making it up for the cup final. Well well they still the same poop tactic as 4 days ago but with 4 at the back.
Forget about wenger being sacked, He needs to quiet for his own sake, doesn’t he get humiliated enough.

Bye bye Wenger, absolutely desperate. The bench shows how weak he has allowed the squad to get and we only have 3 players out, excluding Cazorla, who should never have had his contract extended.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

01 Mar 2018 20:19:13

Agree2 Disagree2

01 Mar 2018 20:25:29
He has to go. There is so much a club can take. We are becoming a laughing stock. The media vultures will be out to stoke the fire.
The board have to act now and get in someone who can organise a team instead of this drivel.

Agree4 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 20:38:07
It says evrything about this club. Carzola gets a new contract and jack probably our most consistent player of late wants to stay but can't get a contract. We got rid of or loaned out lucas campbell walcott ox giroud sanchez but keep iwobi welbeck elneny xhaka. Our defence is a disgrace. When will it end.

Agree0 Disagree1

01 Mar 2018 19:50:56

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 20:19:55
Big game? You serious explain to me why I should drag my arse up there after the last few appearances this dribble have put forward?
How many games do you go to? I’ve had enough 3 nil down already it’s a joke! Wenger out tonight this team needs new ideas and now before we cock up our only hope in the Europa.

Agree0 Disagree1

01 Mar 2018 20:37:42
Clockend, regardless of where you do or don't want to drag your backside, it is a big game? I can't think of a reason why it isn't. The point I was alluding to was that the turnout reflects the recent poor performances and that it's a telling occurrence. There is no need to call me out on anything since we seem to agree - notwithstanding the games I may or may not have attended.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 20:54:05
It’s not unbelievable that season ticket holders haven’t gone tonight we have had enough aswell as most fans this game didn’t sell out that tells you that all those empty seats are 90% season ticket holders, do the club care no because there already paid for this club at the moment is a disgrace and until Wenger goes nothing will change . And it’s big clubs but not a big game we are not in city’s league anymore.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - the club will care as a large proportion of the income from home games comes from the sale of merchandise and food & drink to the matchgoers.}

01 Mar 2018 23:22:56
it will hit home tho eds you guys did that when you walked out. this will only get worse. and no champions league.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Mar 2018 15:46:29

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 18:55:03
Whatever formation are we playing with that line up?
4 at the back with 2 in the middle?
Oh well it's certainly not the obvious choice
But then again I agreed with the 3 at the back on Sunday before the game.

I guess Arsenes philosophy must be to take a leaf out of the only premier league team to beat City this season and attack them and hope for the best.
Unfortunately I'm not sure we are capable imitating Liverpool.

The plan is to get as much snow onto the pitch so it get's called off.

Been reading 62s post about Jack and the club and I can see in some respect where he is coming from. I do feel because of our appalling record regarding injuries if Jack had been at a another club who treated his injuries differently the football watching public would be enjoying his obvious footballing talents the talents we Gooners have only seen in patches (his performance in the first leg against Barcelona 2011 is the one I will always remember. ) Sadly if, we do sell him I don't think that will change much for Jack as the damage has been done so to speak. His performance on Sunday was as all the team shocking and his continuous griping is something he has picked up off the manager.
As for tonight's game I can only see further pain.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

01 Mar 2018 18:46:57
Hi Heybridge mate, I just think the more games Jack plays this season the more like the old Jack he gets.
When he first came back he seemed more out to prove himself but now he's a regular again he's spending more time on the floor or just standing with hands on hips looking at ref when he loses the ball, just like he use to.
He needs a different manager and club and we need a different player in my opinion.
Mind you under Arsene right now what player is playing well for more than the odd game here and there?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2018 10:15:19
Talk in the press that Wilshire will walk at the end of the season if he isn't offered a substantially higher contract. I say cheerio old chap and good riddance, and you can take your smoking/ late night punch ups outside nightclubs, and your being available about 1 game in 4 in your current contract with you. I will happily come down and open the door for you to leave.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - a bit harsh that epping..they have doormen for that.. :)

01 Mar 2018 10:25:26
The problem is if Jack goes who's going to sit on the grass waving his arms about every time they lose the ball?
Half tidy player with the potential to be more but a very very dodgy mentality, not sure wed miss him in 33 games out of 38 even when he is available.

Hey I know your a big Jack fan Sanogo mate and I can see why at times too, currently he along with Aaron is our only Mf players worth mentioning.
But unfortunately even both of them are very hit and miss which doesn't say a lot for the shape we're in right now.
For me Jack and Arsenal are a toxic combination with niether going to be all they might be together, Jack needs if he can to get away from London and to a club with a manager who will demand the right things from him all the time not just accept Jack being Jack.
Being avaliable on a free might just open some doors for Jack to get a chance to turn all that potential into something but that is never going to happen at Arsenal or in London so it would be best for both club and player to part company in my opinion.
I know you will be upset mate but long term it will be the right thing for everyone Jack Arsenal and Sanogo too :-)

I think we will see a much more spirted performance tonight that will have everyone asking " where was that on Sunday "
Obviously the potential for a complete meltdown can never be ruled out from this Arsenal team but I'd be surprised if they didn't at least try to win back some kind of brownie points with those who can still be won back over tonight.
As George W Bush said
" you can fool some of the people some of the time, and they are definitely the ones you should consecrate on "
For Arsene and this team there is no winning back the 50% of fans that have given up on them and who are desperate for change asap so they need to worry 100% about the fans who are still open to them coming good, stating tonight.
I think a 2 2 draw which will be enough to put them back in the good books of those who are still interested in them.
The next week is huge for Arsene and the players to keep that 50% on board, loss badly to City again and then AC and they are in real trouble and they must all be aware of that.
