Great to see The Iceman being honoured with a statue outside the Emirates, what Arsenal player would ye like to see honoured next outside the Emirates . I know it will probably be Wenger but he is not a player, or does any player deserve it?

1.) Ian wright

2.) Agreed Steve. Wright is a legend. Second only the King Henry is the goal scoring stakes. The smiling assassin was one of my favourite players.

3.) I think rocky should, and I imagine a lot other agree. He was outstanding.

Some other: Pires, ljungburg, vieira (basically any invincible)

But my biggest shout, Pat Rice! 44 years at the club, he certainly dwarves a statue. A real Arsenal man

I can understand people giving out about Ozil but he is not a winger he is a number 10. We have too many no 10 at the moment, also why did Wenger take the Ox off I think he is one of our better players with good pace which we are lacking all over the pitch.

1.) It doesn't matter what position he plays, he needs to show a certain amount of desire and commitment. He is no longer playing in a team or a league where he can expect someone else to do his work for him.
It's not acceptable at this level and it's not the 1st time even 1 of his team mates have pointed it out.
Chamberlain was shattered, not long back from injury either. It was sensible to take him off considering the impact he's had in the last couple of games. It was the right call by Wenger.

2.) Add to that, he actually a lot of ground, he covered the third hisghest amount of distance in the pitch, behind only to wilshere and flamini.
It was clear to see how the penalty miss affected him soo much, and for that reason should have been taken off. But can't say he's lazy, he just plays like that.

3.) Totally agree

4.) We defo have too many central number 10 Types like Ozil and Cazorla that are often playing out wide just so that Wenger can fit them into the side. This makes our side a little unbalanced and I have said this for while there are simply too many ball players that come to the ball not enough willing runners especially without Walcott up top and Ramsey making runs from the middle.

It was all Hands to the pump 2nd half and Ozil for his attacking qualities is not a player suited to such a defensive situation. and would never get stuck in like Flamini Wilshire or even Rosicky to an extent. Ozil should have come off after the sending off move Carzorla more central and bring on Gnarby for Sanogo for extra pace along with the Ox .

Part 2 of my question from yesterday, who do people think is the most overrated player in the history of Arsenal. I know I will get shot for this but I think Whilshere?.

Limerick Gunner

1.) I give you Lord Nicklas Bendtner who feels he would only sign for Real Madrid or Barcelona when he invariably leaves Arsenal in the summer. I get the feeling NB doesn't think he's necessarily the best striker in the world but he would probably put himself in the top one.

As for you saying Wilshere is overrated. I think you're being slightly harsh. Maybe he's not hit a Ramsey run of progression and stepped up yet but the guy is hardly 35 yet either. He's got the weight of club and country expectation on his shoulders and he's still maturing as a player and a man.

He's recently had a kid and he's on the way to cutting out the drinking and smoking escapades from the recent past so that will enable him to look to improve himself as a player. I have faith he will be a future Arsenal and England captain.

2.) For me it will always be Denilson. He was basically a Brazilian Cleverley

3.) Sorry champagne Charlie Nicolas
Was no where near what we pretended he was to our selfs

Good win yesterday. A quick question for all, who do ye think has been Arsenals most under-rated player of all time. My vote would go to Ray Parlor. What do ye think?

Limerick Gunner

1.) My vote goes to Tomas Rosicky. I would rate him one of the most underrated player ever. :(

2.) Parlour was definitely underrated.

Gilberto Silva was hugely underrated too.

3.) Yaya Sanogo yesterday.

I can't believe people were criticising him throughout. I haven't seen a centre forward give Skrtel and Agger that much hassle for a long time.

There's a couple of games in the league coming up against non-top 6 sides and I hope he gets another chance in those.

4.) I'm going to agree with Greeny on this one.

Our record with Silva in the side, in front of the back 4 was unbelievable.

Terrific player.

5.) My choice would be Silva, was a huge player for us.

6.) I get a lot of stick for saying Eduardo is one of our best finishers for a long time, shame of his injury.

7.) Akie, no stick mate because you are quite correct. If he stayed injury free he would have been up there with Thierry and Wrighty.

8.) DG, always wonder "what if" with Eduardo. I really think we would have won the prem in '08. He was on fire.

9.) I Quite agree. If Eduardo didn't get injured that day we would have walked to the title.

10.) Parlour and Rosicky - great choices. But how about Flamini round 1, midfielder that played left back all the way to the CL final.

11.) I don't know about underrated but I was gutted when we let go of Overmarrs.

12.) Rooster i'm with you
rosicky, or flamini

I have said it so many times Arsenal will not win anything without a world class defensive midfielder and a world class center forward, there are too many players in midfield who are attacking minded. I would also let Sanga go if he wants I think his best days are behind him, also why won't Wenger play gibbs, also I am very worried about the Utd game I think we won't win it rant over.

Agree but Szczesney is too hot headed at times and he also could be in trouble for his gesture
