Agree with Steve R, if any more are coming in it will be last minute job I reckon. Monaco are playing hard ball with Lemar at the moment but I think we can still get him, but not doubt Monaco have got to get some players in themselves after being raided by City and Chelsea already.
The next few weeks will be all about outgoings we need to shift Chambers, Jenkinson, Debuchy, Perez, Campbell and possibly Gibbs and Wilshire aswell. Pity about Gibbs really I think he would make a good LWB competition for Kolansic in this new system but is just too injury prone.
Ox I would be willing to sell also if we get decent money and use it to help get a midfielder like Carvalho in. Not keen on selling Elneny atm either unless we get another Midfielder in first.

{Ed002's Note - Benzema moving depends on other transfers but if he were to leave PSG and Arsenal are viable options and I suspect Arsenal will have the edge if money is not an issue. If Sanchez leaves then it would be Manchester City having the edge over PSG.}

Benzema would be a good consolation prize, but who doesn't want to see our team pressing up the pitch with the new formation and Sanchez and Lacazette up top. we could be very aggressive for a change.

Morning all,
Ed 002, just wondering if you are aware of the figure Monaco have quoted Lemar at and whether you believe they are realistically open to negotiating on it or is it purely an unrealistic amount that obviously would not be met this window.
Also if you can, could you let us know if the Benzema interest could materialize into an actual serious bid. I know you don't like speculating but from what you know, and in your opinion do you think Arsenal FC have the intent to sign both Lemar and Benzema.
With the obvious impending departure of Sanchez, to then bring in Kolinasic, Lacazette, Lemar and Benzema would be a phenominal transfer window and massive statement and I believe would make us a huge threat this season.
Of course if there is no real intent to make this happen and its the usual huff and puff we've become accustomed to, and we lose Sanchez or keep him and he sulks, well then we are in for another hit and miss league campaign.

If we really want him we will pay what it takes if we don't then we look elsewhere. They are the sellers so they name the price, we have the funds to match what they ask so surely it's a simple matter of how much we do or don't want him. Chelsea utd Liverpool city Everton have all paid above the market value for players this summer to get who they wanted, lukaku 75 millions? Way over the odds but no one will care next May if he scores goals and Utd have a good season. It's our chioce stick to our value of a player or get real and pay what it takes. Principles v Success almost you might say.
