Evening all Ed's and fellow gunners hope all's good. absolutely huge away win tonight. Brighton 0-1 the Arsenal, 3points ✔️ one game at a time. massive rotation for cup game at the weekend. let first team rest up and recharge. by the way guys and gals West Ham and forest are only a point behind spurs if palace turn them over tomorrow (fingers crossed) .
then they are bang in trouble and I don't think they've got the minerals for a proper relegation battle 😁 COYG/VTH. 🔴⚪️❤️ and for tomorrow night come on the palace .

Great battle, fight, result and gutsy win.
Lucky lucky goal
Terrible game
However we showed the guts and stubbornness that every single champion in any sport needs to have in their locker.
Well done - that result was needed and we showed we have the guts and discipline to keep doubters at bay
No thank you for the terrible football but thank you for the champion display. We couldn't do that last year and even better that my other team best City
Great great night.

Just wanted to say hope our ed001, and all gooners and everyone in the middle of the madness in the middle east, stays safe and that things will calm down very soon xx.

I'm liking your business so far this close season. You ran out of gas last year but what a pace you set, I think the additions you are making are all very sensible.
I think we now have a decent Manager but are still a couple of years away from properly competing, and that depends on the ins and outs.
Right now, I think it will be you and City again, with a bit of a free for all below the 2 of you.

Hi AJH I think it's always difficult to say what's going to happen in advance, no one saw our fantastic season last season happening this time last year.
I am really happy with our business this summer and I think we should be even more competitive next season than last but when it comes to who will give City a run for their money next season I wouldn't write yourselves, Chelsea Liverpool or Newcastle out of the equation just yet. Your manager is definitely looking like your best attempt yet to replace the irreplaceable Fergie. For me next season is looking like it could be a real humdinger at the top of the table.

Hi AJH,
I also like our business this window, probably we've never had a window like it, and perhaps still more to come!, but how this will actually translate onto the pitch is difficult to say. I see us up there in the mix, but i doubt we have enough for City.
United I admittedly don't watch often, but when I look through your squad I honestly can't see you competing with City anytime soon at all. That said, I didn't think you'd make the champions league last season, and in many games you do look quite solid as a unit (ignoring the capitulations) . I wouldn't at all be surprised to watch your team drop out of the top 4 next season, and yet, if you were able to sign someone like a prime Luis Suarez, I could picture that team having a genuine title challenge.

I have just watched the Dele Ali interview with Gary Neville "Now is the time to talk". What an amazing young man! I would definitely recommend watching this.

Edoo2 is there a problem with the signing of rice and timber? Seems to be dragging on.
{Ed002's Note - No, you are just being impatient.}

Why is it taking so long for rice and timber.
{Ed002's Note - They will be awaiting international clearance.}

While I'm at it, I saw all the Havertz talk. He was obviously highly rated before he came and played in an out of sorts team. Like many thought he wouldn't go in ahead of anyone in our first 11 so would just be rotating like Trossard, which is great but a lot of money for that.
A friend of mine looked at it differently. We were discussing the need for a striker. Asking where I saw goals coming from (spread across martinelli and Saka, less from Odegaard and jesus) he then asked why he wouldn't be competition or even displace Jesus as although not a striker, he thought Havertz had a better all round game, could score more than jesus and would allow the others more goals, plus is an option for the wings and can fill in for odegaard. A decent case I thought I'd share 😊.
