21 goals scored so far this season, 20 from open play and 1 penalty kick. Not a single set peice goal so far. The team is continuing to evolve year on year 👍.

The Brighton hammering and the long break hasn't helped us at all, we are back to the tedious, labouring football. I also hate the Viktor Gyokeres treatment, agreed he may not be world class but he is a decent striker and if we are playing him then play to his strengths!

Both Liverpool and us did circa 700m in revenue & despite our self sustainable model we lost 1m & LFC made 8m - wages & depreciation of players & agent fees are off the charts. Arteta 100m contract, Tice 350k PW! Hence paying for players up front is a big thing now as clubs worried someone in the chain goes pop!

Ah the daily Kai kicking! I've missed it! He's a baller and one of ours! Scored against PSG in CL final a criticism constantly thrown at our players by some that they don't perform in big games.
Kai scored winner v Cheaty for Cheaty FC also in CL Final. Prem League winner for us but disrespected continually mainly because of his wage and mainly on here. Still labouring the point 😉 COYG.

He is expensive & not a striker but a hard worker & hustles very well - it would. Red to be a world class striker to replace him but that's what's needed.

🤣🤣 nothing if not consistent! I didn't see Alvarez v United the other day but if you can't score v their defence is he all that? Could be wrong but think Alvarez hasn't scored yet this season - hardly a ringing endorsement! Is it a case Viktor and Alvarez are good strikers not being serviced? Ooh er Miss's.

Kroupi and Yıldız for me - Alvarez didn't look like a deadly striker at the WC. Not sure Srteta even likes attackers or goal s orders Vs hard workers.
Outside of that Osimhen - yes the league he's in is poor but he knows where net is & is quick. His European goal record is strong.
A decent striker & a proper LW option.

My suggestion for dealing with the City charges: all other 19 clubs band together and state they will not field a team against City. The games are automatically a 3-0 win for City, causing embarrassment for the league as City look on course to win the title unbeaten. The league is forced to intervene.
My preferred solution is to either disband the club, or force the owners to sell to the fans and relegate them to the conference. The owners are unapologetically defiant, this cannot be solved diplomatically.

I think whatever the punishment is to be, it will be announced pretty soon because all the uncertainty is undermining the entire Premier League season with no ones really knowing if their efforts against City will mean anything at all by the time the season ends.
The entire saga needs putting to bed and moving on from for the good of the game.

City look the team to beat this season, I had serious doubts about Maresca and thought they will fade away but it is more of a case with us, the way we have laboured in the past few games. Still early days though.
The city verdict may have even motivated their players to raise their level. Our injuries again look like a concern and we have comparatively hard league in Europe which will stretch the team.

Summer transfer window did not help getting rid of both Trossard and Gabi and not getting replacement Big mistake will come back to bit us.
Hopefully Arteta to work his magic with what we have and we bring in what we need in January.

I think we are still well in it! I base this on who we have played and who the Ch£££ing Club have played. We have played Brighton 3rd away plus Chelsea 6th and Dirty Leeeeds 7th who are in form teams as half our fixtures. The highest team Cheaty have played is Liverpool yesterday who I thought were worth at least a draw before the red card Hmmm! They also had Gakpo Isak Ekitike and Sbozalai out of attack and still caused C£ty problems.
Cheaty beat United who are woeful by the way with the PGMOL golden goal for Haaland and they slaughtered Cov 1-0 at home. Red tints fully on and Saka Out?

I get that Highbury and agree to a degree. Our squad though has quality and depth as has C£ty's. Confident Hincapie and Zubi can be covered as on bench anyway. Madueke injury leads to the biggest drop off in ability along with Raya although Max can cover both flanks and Eze available too.
Selling Tross was a dereliction of duty IMO. Timber back along with Tzolis and Saliba soon, But you are right Highbury as our injury record is a concern. Confident we can deal with most injuries though COYG

Hi Highbury mate, before the Brighton game we were being talked of as world beaters, and for me one bad result against Brighton and not thrashing a previously unbeaten Leeds doesn't take away all the good things before those games.
Before the international break most neutrals were talking about the incredible quality of our squad and the unbelievable strength in depth we had, for me that hasn't changed 👍.

Dublin. Hope you're good. Admit saka not exactly at level he can be, but, wouldn't say he's been garbage for 2 and half years. Couple of long injuries, played lots of games, teams now realise to double up on him but still performs, not always, but mostly.
He'd probably Admit that himself. Rice doesn't seem to be at top of his game at moment either. Would I swap either? No.

Just watch the work Saka does running back to defend Dublin. It's a no from me, give the man credit, he is desperate to score and I think this sometimes causes him to make the wrong decisions. Nothing more in my opinion.

12 goals in 2 years isn't good enough sorry, this is the thing with Arsenal fans I find we are too sentimental with players we get attached, I'm sorry but if he was any other player I think it'll be a different story but the last 2 years he hasn't been good enough! He needs to score at least 15 league goals this season or questions should be asked they were with other wingers, 62 and sally as I said too sentimental.

Hi Dublin, you could be correct about myself and Sally being too sentimental or alternatively you could simply be in a very small minority of people in your opinion of Saka.
I'd love to see a poll of Arsenal fans and a poll fans of other teams and see what the majority of footballing fans think if Arsenal would wise to get rid of Saka. I must confess I've not heard anyone else Arsenal fan or otherwise thinks Arsenal should let Saka go.

The squad strength hasn't been this good for 20 years Cornwall, and neither has the work rate, commitment, passion while the atmosphere in the stadium is at a level never known before.
