Good morning all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope all is well. I was just thinking to myself after last night's fantastic performance/result. that if someone had said too me before the start of the season, that by march the 18th we would have only have lost 3 games all season and still be in with a chance of four trophies 9 points clear top of the Premier League, unbeaten in all cup competitions and just the one draw in Europe. I would have took that all day and all night long.

yes I agree some of our games have been a struggle but we seem to find a way. these are great times to be a fan of the Arsenal I don't give a monkeys fart what all the haters are saying, in fact I'm loving it. I'm loving the journey our great club is on. and loving the fact that we are back amongst it all.

Arteta the back room staff, the squad and everyone else related to this club including us fans should be immensely proud. on wards and upwards. one game at a time. COYG/VTH. 🔴⚪️❤️.

Well said, Gabi, and indeed what a time to be a gooner! Credit to the club, the manager and, above all, the players.
I have been moaning about our style of play, but having watched Rice's comments last night, I realised and appreciate the effort the players are putting in every 3 days.

It's a monumental physical and mental effort, and to get us to where we are today, and in contention for four trophies, is a very big achievement. So, regardless of the style of play, I will enjoy and appreciate the results and all the trophies it may bring with it!

18 Mar 2026 16:29:52
Totally agree, Rice epitomises what a fan would do if only he/she physically could for this club. We'd literally walk through s***! I'm a fan, of course, I would. But to actually see that passion in our team's players really fires me up. I don't see any divas among our players.

Recruiting players who fight for each other and the club, rather than themselves. I love it. It is a credit to the boss, what Arteta has achieved. Transfer market savvy, total player buy in, less ego. It's all about Arsenal Football Club. We're buzzing. It surely is a good time to be a Gunner.

Hi Bill & K.G., good posts. The way a lot of teams set up against us has played a massive role in our style of play. Low-block, park-the-bus teams have sometimes made us a struggle to watch, but we are still finding ways. Teams that come out to play us. 9 times outa 10 are getting a lesson, and our style is much more appealing. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it when teams park the bus against us (although it's well within the laws of the game to do so) .

It makes for a bit of a boring watch. It just means long throws & set pieces are used more to break teams down (which are also within the laws of the game) . You gotta do what you gotta do, and we've been doing it to great effect. It's why we are where we are right now. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that teams are now going to try and play against us, as that will play right into our hands. COYG/VTH. 🔴⚪️❤️ One game at a time.

Totally agree with all the above comments, especially the togetherness of the players. And our strength in depth!

The next few weeks will be sooooooooo interesting..

The last 2 games have seen renewed energy IMO, maybe it's the last push.

46 shots on goal in the last 2 games, a huge improvement.

Yes B.G.. and last night in particular, if it wasn't for their keeper it could have been a cricket score. 😉

18 Mar 2026 06:02:04.
Well played boys! Better energy and more attack-focused. Plenty shots and 2 beautiful goals.
Also - Well played Vik. Some nice flicks, better hold-up and looking more dangerous. Opposition probably helped, but better game from you.

On to the Cup Final!

Oh - outstanding saves again, Raya - well played.

Excited about the final now. We will get the job done! COYG!

Out of interest, has the Chelsea page been closed?

{Ed001's Note - no Tom why?}

I wouldn't have a clue but it comes back as "Bad Request" even if I try to transfer from another clubs page.

{Ed033's Note - Maybe try with a different device or different internet browser first?

Thanks.

This page did it yesterday as well.

Great performance today and getting the job done, two outstanding open play goals, up against Sporting in the QF. This win will set us up nicely for the weekend. COYG!

Who gets the nod on Sunday Gooners Kepa or Raya?

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Mar 2026 21:55:10
I think it will be Raya. Very important game, and Arteta will field the first 11.
Who should get the nod, Madueke or Saka?

18 Mar 2026 07:54:45
Madueke would be my choice, Highbury, mate.

Just listened to Henry ( King Henry - the guy that could win a game and make opponent fans applaud ) talk about us on MNF. He clearly doesn’t like the way we are playing but did really make me think as he said we were always labeled as the nearly team, get bullied team and questions raised if we could win the league after 22 years. He said we are showing we can do whatever it takes to win the league. We should be applauded for that. We’ve shown we can play. We’ve shown we can fight and defend leads. Hopefully we can show we can fight, scrap and defend our way to the title and we will deserve it.

We can then worry about our style of play - George G V Arsene style.

I’ve been critical of the boss and our god awful approach, tactics and signings but we are top, showing bottle and hopefully champions —- well done Arteta and well done AFC. I appreciate that, the fight, the scorpion blocks plus the moments of magic from the likes of Dowman, Rice, Eze etc.

Well done - I will enjoy the ride and applaud us over the finish line.

Well done Arteta - never stop fighting.

Frank Warren, the boxing promoter who is a serious Gooner, said all these goals from corners indicate we must have been attacking in the first place, which is a very valid point.
Take care everyone. 👍❤️💪

It`s fake news and lazy, monotonous reporting by media and pundits. This corner fc bollox being portrayed suggests all we do is play for corners every game, except we are near enough the same as Chelsea, Pool, City, and that paragon of virtue Hurzelar has his team getting roughly one corner a game less than us. Hardly a real difference over 90 mins if we are playing for corners, plus we attack more than they do. It`s just we are good at them and score, and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, as everyone is doing it.

Ignore the bitterness, you beautiful Gooners! Or we can literally get done for cheating but praise the new owners for their honesty, and even I read they are to be admired! Club still cheated systematically for years, but the narrative is well done for bringing to our attention! Although Henry Norris was a wrong`un a hundred plus years ago. Can`t make it up COYG.

And to you mal, enjoy the day.

16 Mar 2026 16:05:07
A quick pop in to say hi Mal, and to remind you not to drink everything.

Shout to everyone else too.

16 Mar 2026 19:10:07
Just wondering what teetotal Irish folk drink on this special day (if there is such a thing lol) .

16 Mar 2026 21:01:47
Have a great one, Mal, mate. 👍

Proud to say Max is from my home town! Superproudessexgirl#weareaspecialbreed#werenotalltowielol And how about Martinelli tracking him and heading off the Everton player? Absolute class happy happy happy. 😊

When you look at the stats v Everton you can't really complain, we moved the ball quicker 20+ shots at goal also, play that Tomorrow and we go through.

16 Mar 2026 14:17:59
Agree, BG, I thought the players really did put in a lot of effort to move through the gears. Glad to see Noni get a deserved start as well.

I have to say as well, Everton were genuinely excellent, no surprise they've turned it around and are in the top half of the table.

Just realised we don't play prem league game until the 11th of April, Bournemouth at home.

International break, and then the FA Cup. It's a long wait, mate. I am planning on us beating Bournemouth, City dropping more points away at Chelsea, before we both meet at the Etihad. We really are at the business end, aren't we?

16 Mar 2026 08:12:40
Yes, we are, Banbury, mate. 👍👍
