I'm. Pretty confident we will ed
Victor to score a brace
Come on.
{Ed025's Note - i think you will win Mal, dont hold your breath on Vic getting a brace though mate..
17 Jan 2026 15:50:15
I don't care who scores as long as we take advantage and walk away three points. Come on Arsenal, Arteta, Fans we need the three. Forest will put up a fight and they can be dangerous at home.

There won't be many times I say it, but.
Get in utd!

Very disappointed with the 2 goals we conceded last night, It's made it a tighter return leg than was necessary
A win is a win and we are 90 minutes away from a final.

Kepa has shown himself to be bargain of the century I reckon BG.

Anyone else think we finally got a good performance from Gyokeres tonight?
He still looks unconvincing when coming short, but when he makes those angled, aggressive runs, defenders get really unsettled.
That's exactly where Saka, Odegaard, Trossard etc should be looking to play him in or use him as a decoy. Fingers crossed we figure out how to consistently get more out of him because the power and the effort are there.
And no lemon talk ed025!
{Ed025's Note - he certainly knows where the goal is Wire, its finding it thats the problem mate, a tap in from 6 inches is not going to convince me just yet, i could be wrong though i suppose...but we all know thats highly unlikely.. :)

Doesn't matter how you get them!
I will say, if he approached getting on the end of crosses with the same bloody-mindedness he has with pressing, he'd have 20 goals by now.
Still, I can't think of many players who have come to Arsenal and not improved under Arteta in the last few years, so we'll see what comes of it. I have to imagine he's working hard in training and isn't an idiot who can't take instruction.
{Ed025's Note - im a big believer in natural talent Wire, i see myself as a bit of an expert when it comes to forwards and over the years have seen some of the greats, the likes of Latchford and Sharpe at Everton, Fowler and Rush at Liverpool and Henry and Wright at Arsenal, great players with that certain trait of getting you off your seat mate, i have also seen a lot of duffers i must say and the chuckle brothers at Everton (Beto and Barry) are certainly two of them...and Victor im afraid is in that category, he could come good though i suppose...and i could get a letter from Rachel Riley begging me for a date.. :)
15 Jan 2026 10:07:55
Hello Wire and Ed 25, hope you are both good.
I thought Vic had his best game in a Arsenal shirt. Like Ed said the goal was a tap in but he was in there to get the touch.
Another in the first half when he held off a couple of Chelsea defenders and shot. Small things atm but he certainly puts in a shift
Take care everyone.
{Ed025's Note - Hi Bill, i have no agenda against Victor mate i just dont think hes a very good player, by the way the postman has just been and still no letter from Rachel.. :)
15 Jan 2026 10:37:41
He got man of the match guys 😊.
{Ed025's Note - really Sally??, who was the judge...Stevie Wonder?.. :)
15 Jan 2026 14:21:30
Harsh ed025, very harsh lol. Do you know if we are in for any players this transfer window?
{Ed025's Note - not really Sally, i think the focus is on keeping what you have and keeping hold of them, a few clubs are interested in Nwaneri and White on loan but Arteta wants to keep hold of the mate, i believe you have enough with what you have because its a very strong squad...i just wish you were more adventurous and went at teams rather than this tippy tappy pass the thing to death..
15 Jan 2026 19:29:50
If Sanchez holds onto that cross which he would normally do, then Gyokeres has another game where he does pretty much nothing. To say a player has turned a corner off the back of that seems wild to me.
{Ed025's Note - im with you Fuser..
16 Jan 2026 05:38:44
I would of preferred us to have gone for mateta from palace I think he would of done a better job for us I don't think gyokeres has a very good first touch we needed more of a giroud type of player in my opinion.
16 Jan 2026 13:29:07
I have not seen anyone claim that, fuser, but it's not a bad thing to look for green shoots when you see them.
16 Jan 2026 19:48:03
I was watching some highlights of him playing for Sporting last season and he looked slimmer and was moving a lot quicker than now.
14 Jan 2026 17:14:02
Lots of talk we are interested in Marc Guehi. Anyone reckon he would be a good fit for us?

14 Jan 2026 18:56:39
Not sure who we drop to slot him in. He's not coming to us to play second fiddle to anyone, I don't think.
14 Jan 2026 23:28:12
It's a strange link to see, and it would be a lot of money for him to come and warm our bench.
15 Jan 2026 01:02:56
Likely just the rumour mill as usual. His agent is probably drumming up as much interest as he can.
15 Jan 2026 02:38:41
I don't see why his agent needs to drum up interest when Liverpool is still interested in bringing him in during the summer and he's still interested in making that move. It's more likely that the news sites who are panicking and trying to generate clicks on their articles.
This Jan transfer window has been very quiet so far and the only big transfer (Semenyo to Man City) was done smoothly with no drama. They need stories to survive and if there isn't one, they'd just create one to remain relevant.
15 Jan 2026 06:42:38
I would be surprised if there was not a long precedent of agents and selling clubs shopping their client/player around so that they had better leverage in wage negotiations and so that the selling club were able to recoup more of a fee.
15 Jan 2026 07:27:12
That definitely happens wire. I'm just saying that I don't see it happening in Guehi's case. On the contrary, I feel that his agent would be better placed to keep him where he is now and go on a free at the end of the season so that he can get a huge signing on fee and potentially higher agent fees.
15 Jan 2026 09:30:41
Fair point. Perhaps it's Palace then, as I imagine losing him on a free would be disastrous for them.
