Should say well played Raya - few big saves today again.

Yes, two great saves from Raya, and what an acrobatic block by Calafiori. There is no question; everyone is giving their 100%. However, it's just that our attacking needs to click. Having said that, we are 9 points clear, so..

15 Mar 2026 20:38:36
Hello, Highbury mate, David Moyes commented on Calafiori's block, and said it emphasized how strong our defending is.

14 Mar 2026 22:27:39
Well done Max - that painted over some boring cracks and a terrible game. Painful.

However - we win and City drew.

That’s a big step towards the title and boy did I love Max’s goal, energy and celebration.

How many of the other 9 would have done that or run to the corner flag or kept possession.

Probably 8 - Rice the exception.

Score a goal like that and then off to school on Monday - wow.

Let’s not start him - bring him on when players are tired and teams stretched.

On a separate note - stonewall penalty.

Enjoy your weekend.

Only fitting to have a typo on a Sally post. 🤣

Mavropanos 💪🏻🧱🧱 wall ⚽️ (m. o. m) . Well deserved point for West Ham. And a great result for us gooners. Really looking forward to putting my feet up tomorrow afternoon and watching the football.

I’m saying this now that Max Dowman goal will go down in history as Arsenal's greatest goal ever!

Nah! It's up for grabs now, Mickey T. COYG.

15 Mar 2026 08:10:10
For us older lot. Mickey T away at Liverpool by a country mile. I was there. The experience will be forever etched in my soul. I've actually got goosebumps as I text this short message. And, for any of our younger posters that never experienced that magical night, go treat yourself and watch the best title decider in the history of the old First Division.

Oh what a night. Never forget the massive goal that Alan Smudger Smith scored to set us on our way, and Steve McMahon holding up 1 finger, telling the Liverpool fans 1 minute to go. Mickey gets the ball, and the rest, as they say, my friends, is history. Oh what a night. 🔴⚪️❤️

Just watch 89 the documentary! It's funny, every time I watch, I get a bit of dust in my eyes when Wrighty talks about David Rocastle COYG
#lessofthe`usolderlot` Gabi:) .

15 Mar 2026 16:48:23
Rocky Rocastle.. What a player. My old dad used to say he was the only Englishman good enough to play for Brazil. Taken way too early. We still remember & love Rocky. 🙏🏻

15 Mar 2026 20:52:28
Hi Sussex, I fully include myself as part of the us older lot. 😁

14 Mar 2026 20:09:10
I’m in bed high af and watching fan reactions on YouTube. The emotions from our fans brought a tear to my eye because it was exactly how I was celebrating! And the fans' reactions to Dowman scoring, wow! I now believe this win will make the players lift themselves closer to the title COYG 🫡.

Just watched MOTD and the highlight of Max's goal - smiling so so much watching him score & celebrate. An absolute delight.

Dowman! My boy!
We were pathetic until he came on, can’t put pressure on him but he could be the spark we need for the last few games. As for the rest of the team, somebody should tell them that we need to score goals to win matches.

Very true - Arteta must see it & address.

Vic, Kai & Jesus ain't the answer - let's get a Henry or a Wright, please. Let's see some goals and someone who can score a goal out of nothing & run past a player.

14 Mar 2026 22:45:42
No players like Henry about in this era. Modern football lacks elite strikers like back in the day.
Game has changed.

Falco, Crespo, Andry Shevchenko, Ruud van Nistelrooy, David Villa, Didier Drogba, Fernando Torres, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Samuel Eto, Wayne Rooney, Ronaldo Nazario, Thierry Henry, sure I have missed a few, all from the same era.

Who do we have now that could stand up to that list? Haaland and maybe Mbappe.

14 Mar 2026 23:21:34
I like Osimhen.

14 Mar 2026 23:29:26
Think that ship has now sailed, mate, and unfortunately there is a lack of top strikers now, so options are slim. It was quite depressing making that list; we were spoilt for strikers. The game is more about build up and possession, the Rice and Rodri are now more important.

Hopefully it will come full circle soon and get back to entertainment. Stats have killed the game a bit, everything is so calculated now, and VAR does not help, especially in the Prem. The low block is killing the fun. Moments like today are few and far between now, unfortunately.

14 Mar 2026 16:47:24
Let’s put a performance in to make us proud and a result that puts pressure on City.

COYG - Interesting line up…don’t really like Noni on left wing so who gets their preferred spot on right - Saka or Noni.

Could we see some switching around which would be good to see…goal king Kai leading the attack. 🤔

Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Rice, Eze, Saka, Madueke, Kai

See you on live 👍.

14 Mar 2026 19:36:23
Regardless of the line up, the approach is sideways and backwards. Can we also hire an attacking coach please!

14 Mar 2026 19:48:03
Attacking coach = Bergkamp. (All day long) .

14 Mar 2026 19:56:24
Or just bring Dowman on to show the olds how to play.

14 Mar 2026 21:28:15
Hi Sy, hope alls good, fella. Dowman, what a talent. Showed everyone how it's done. Still think we should bring in Bergkamp and/or Wrighty as attacking coach/coaches. 😉

14 Mar 2026 22:18:19
Think we need someone with some attacking flare. Plan B can't be a long throw.

It would be great to see someone strong and forceful & clever, as Arteta is stubborn: you need to be able to sell your idea & have an idea. Love those two, but Wright is too passionate & not strategic. DB is a god, but not sure he's forceful enough.

It would be great for DB to be attacking coach on the training ground. Great addition to the back room staff.

I'd love Keown as number two, as he'd be strong enough to stand up to the players & manager. Sure he would make a difference.

Dowman was awesome, and reflects zero of what Arteta and team stand for.

He was 100% attack. Take a risk, pass forward, don't take the lazy easy pass. I'd love to see a stat on how many useless passes our players made ( backwards / sideways ) , how we go from a corner to passing back to Raya.
Compared to Max.

The difference in mindset was frightening.

I'm great, mate - you?

That game was terrible. Everton played way better football until Max came on. Why the boss plays Noni LW is ridiculous & our zero attack play is embarrassing - we are in the entertainment game.

However - huge win & huge result.
