Cold light of day, still so angry. Playing a team 40 odd points behind us and for the last minutes of the game clinging on for dear life. Inexcusable.

{Ed025's Note - its becoming very cringe Bill, playing well for spells then falling to bits is becoming a bit of a theme now mate, is it a tactical ploy to get ahead then shut up shop or are the players just bottling it..i dont know, the fact is you cant blow this one and the players and manager have to step up to the plate starting with Spurs at the weekend, they will have new manager bounce but player for player you should wipe the floor with them but you could say that about Wolves i suppose, get a grip Arsenal FFS..

Tbh Ed mate, I thought the home loss to United was the kick up the arse we needed but we have got worse. Spurs with a new manager and will be our faces and I am not confident we will handle it.

Evening all, if you want to win a league title… you don’t give up a 2 goal lead against the rock bottom team… we we’re really poor tonight. and as much as I hate to say it… if we play like that in the derby on Sunday we will be in trouble. we need to sort ourselves out big time…city are now in a position that if they win all their remaining league games they win the title.

and again I hate to say it but city are very good at going on decent runs. every game is huge but the league cup final and city away are going to be absolutely massive. COYG/VTH 🔴⚪️❤️.

You could tell on the chat we all knew this was coming. We’ve been poor for weeks.
I thought the last few years it was due to squad size but that’s no excuse now, it’s definitely mentality.
Couple of things from me- the captaincy. I don’t understand why it isn’t Rice although I don’t think it’s going to change at this point in the season.


On pitch relationships seemed to have been lost and players look off it and don’t trust each other.
Playing Saka at 10. Although he scored why are we trying to squeeze players into the team?
Arteta has his work cut out because if things don’t change quickly our season in all comps could be over very quickly.

He’s bottled it for last 3 or 4 years and couldn’t pick a striker if his life depended on it. When will he get it that it’s 3 points for a win and only a point if we are so scared not to lose. Pathetic.

Ode or Saka can’t be showing captains - pathetic

We need an Adams or a Keown type player to tell a few home truths and stop players being lazy with cowardly sideways slow passing.

I’m not suddenly turning on Arteta or Ide or Vik etc as I’ve been vocal about our spineless lazy defence minded rigid play.

Hope Arteta shoves those opinions down my throat but he’s the emperor with no clothes…. those no clothes cost 800m

I think we have got a serious problem with our mental toughess and a even bigger problem with our tactics.
Waiting for the opposition to make mistakes rather then making things happen ourselves.

Why are you surprised - he’s bottled it every year. Needed a striker and hasn’t learned and shown that over z& over again.

Sorry - I’m livid. Boss needs a better captain and better team around him - not a corner / throw in special-ist but an attack minded number 2 to challenge him.

For me that's it with regards the league, 2-0 up away from home against a really poor side, Arteta looks lost at times.

Gyokeres is a passenger as is Saka, the game should have been put to bed in the first 30 minutes, we then let Wolves back in and the rest is history. shocking.
