With the possible addition of Calafiori or if not him a potential LB and the what Arteta has done with Havertz - could we possibly see TImber in that 8 or 6 role this season?
From the little I've seen of him, it looks like he has the qualities to play in that position and if we were to get a Calafiori type player we'd be stacked with quality defenders who all deserve to be in the starting XI.

I've been thinking the same. Calafiori has LB written all over him (also a potential Saliba backup as a technical leader in the backline? ) while Timber as a left 8 is an interesting idea.
I hope we rotate our players a bit more this season to keep everyone happy and in form. I feel like this summer will be more about adding strength in depth and different tactical options rather than signing outright improvements for the first eleven.

Wouldn’t Timber be more of a rotation option at RB? Possibly allowing White to either play CB or just have a rest.

The player has said he would like to play for Manchester City. New coach will have a say at Bayern Munich and that could lead to a one year extension. The player can be a serious pain in the neck for coaches.}
